Wait & See official music video released on 15.11.24
Vanitas are rising fast in the UK heavy scene, bringing their unique blend of progressive metal and djent with orchestral elements that wouldn’t sound out of place in a Final Fantasy soundtrack; creating what they’ve coined ‘cinematic djent’. The Birmingham 5-piece have wasted no time establishing themselves in the UK music scene since their debut in 2022 with dynamic live performances supporting acts in the past such as: Monuments, Voyager, Galactic Empire & Destrage in their short time as a band so far.
In 2024, Vanitas return mature and dangerous, delivering their heaviest release yet. Their sophomore EP ‘Chaos Theory’ released August 2nd represents a savage expression of rage and desperation; born from a time of turmoil and wearing its scars proudly. Since its release the EP has reached over 47K on Spotify, with a combined 80K+ views on their official music videos and multiple positive reviews. Vanitas debuted “Chaos Theory” live with a sold-out hometown show at The Flapper, Birmingham and their debut UK tour including an appearance at 2023’s UK best micro-festival winners Burn it Down Festival alongside the likes of Wargasm, Lake Malice, Creeper, Caskets & more.
Vanitas now round-off a successful year of releases with their newest single Wait & See; an epic anthem, exploring the duality of excitement and anxiety of trusting an unknown future.
