Same story bro. I was driving all the way across town to get a hair cut. It was a total of 25 every 2 weeks. I didnt come out to where I liked it for $25 bucks. I did the math and thought to myself, I can mess up for that much money. I bought some clippers. Asked my brothers can I practice on them. Told them I would never charge them for a cut. They said YEAH! 4 years later, I cut my whole family, my football team, and a bunch of students at my school (I'm a teacher/coach). I rarely even charge because I just love to do it. Man I'm a barber from Sydney Australia, and man this touched me straight up cause I started cutting as a hobbie n lost interest in it because everyone said that aint where the money is at, but they never understood the creativity behind it, last year I took the courage to step out of my comfort zone, n signed up to work at a barbershop, had difficulties with my boss, n he told me that when I leave that I'll be back, now I'm going in to do courses this year for my certs, n barber school, opened up a place in my backyard n its hard but I'm willing to give it my all instead of being a slave to this world, n man today I was losing hope, but this video was meant to be, so I thank god for putting ppl like you to help others through simple ways with just a video man, big ups to you man

We have real similar stories bro, my senior year I started cutting my own hair and friends hair. I knew I didn’t wanna go to college and I liked cutting hair. So within a week of graduating from high school I signed up for barber college and finished the course in 8 months. A few weeks ago I started at my first barber shop and I don’t plan on stopping the growth anytime soon
