If you ask me the ending should've opened the door to another sequel or least of all a TV series. If we got a series it would be on Kenai and Koda going about on their own adventures, Nita hanging out with other girl bears, fighting hunters looking to seek harm namely Atka who may not take rejection that well and somewhere in the middle or end Nita entering motherhood.
