I cant believe I missed this when it was released.
I 10000% agree with Eric. These 90’s 59 Reissue Bassmans with the blue frame Eminence Alnico’s are real sleepers!

As there's no reverb in this amp, I use the BOSS Fender FRV-1 '63 Reverb Pedal with my Bassman...sounds great!

I came across a Kendrick Bassman handwired clone for good price, , best amp ever! Love the guns and the amps. God Bless

Dude you make guitar videos too... subscribed. Eric seems like that dude who would be the most awesome friend. Could talk to this guy for days on end about guitars, guns and history.

I remember when those first came out in 1990. A music store I would frequent had a couple of the early ones as they had leather handles. Fender soon went to the rubber "dog bone". I regret not buying one of those but did pick up a first year second hand a year or so later, just wasn't one with the leather handle. Still have it. I've added a bias pot and ditched the solid state rectifier adapter since then. FYI-The version in the video appears to be a Limited which was released in 2004. I was thinking earlier but a search says 2004. From what I've read over the years, the Limited generally is favored over the original reissue. The earlier reissues win when it comes to speakers. There's something about those Eminence blue framed alnico 10's.

@guitarsenal I’m a former cop. Full time musician and YouTube watcher. My detective skills did not put together that you’re also from IV888!! I am so pumped to see you in the music world. I had no idea. Love your channel!! You have sick tone as well.

Ex-Bowie guitarist (amongst many others) Mick Ronson used a Fender Bassman in the early days of his career until he acquired a Marshall Major (a 200 watt monster!).

So which is louder - a Bassman turned up to 10 (12😂) or an unsuppressed .223?

My goodness, who'd have thunk that the guy who I've been watching for gun knowledge for years is equally versed in guitar and related technology. Eric, you are a true Renaissance man. ;-)
