I'm still running my 04 RAV4, so now 19 years old, 110, 000 miles, just went through (UK) M.O.T - straight through! Brilliant car.

My 2016 Rav4 is a 4-banger, but I'm happy with it. Best vehicle I've ever bought since my 2000 Avalon.

My dad had v6 rav4, and that thing was able to pull a boat bigger than the car itself, although that is not advisable. The thing just wouldn’t fail.

I live in Alaska, family ran a business on the top of a mountain, so yes, I kinda needed 4 wheel drive. I had a 1996 RAV4. Absolute BEST car I've ever owned for truly horrific winter driving conditions. I sold it to a relative when second baby came along, and she managed to total it, so it never had the chance to make it into the 100, 000's of miles. I bought the thing sight unseen, my husband had told me that I could get whatever car I wanted as long as it was a Toyota. When I went to pick it up, I thought it looked like a car that George Jetson would have driven, but Wow, weird as it looked, it was an awesome car.

i remember a snow storm we had where the roads were heavy with snow. i saw a Bronco with about four or five guys in it stuck in the middle of the road. Just to be a wise guy, I drove around them in the deepest snow in my Rav.4 I had no problem in it.

Ive got a 2014 rav awd 4cyl and it's awesome! I've got 228000 miles on it and it runs awesome but I've kept up w all the maintenance. The lead service guy at dealership told me don't sell it - it will go forever! Love mine

I had the last year of this body style, a 2012 Rav4 AWD with the 4-cylinder engine. Loved it! Practical and reliable -- and it was amazing how much fit in the back with the seats down! Loved that the spare tire was on the back and I kind of liked that the door opened sideways. I got a great deal on it used since it was a somewhat ugly khaki/brown color.

We have 3 RAV4's in our family. A 2011 Base 4-cyl, a 2011 Limited V6, and 2012 Base 4cyl. All have 150K and greater on regularly scheduled maintenance only. The only issue had in any of them outside of regular maintenance was our 2011 4cylinder had 1 water pump replaced and covered (out of warranty) by Toyota North America leaving us with No out-of-pocket expense for a new OEM replacement. All of our 2011 & 212 RAV4's continue to serve us faithfully everyday, and have become the longest owned and most reliable Make & model vehicle I ever owned.

I had a 1994 Volvo 740 turbo 4 cylinder. A freaking beast! Easy to work on, ran forever. Had 275, 000 on it. Sold it in 2012. The buyer sold it in 2019 and it still running. Also had a 2003 BMW X-5. Loved the BMW X5 but tranny failed at 150, 000. Toyotas generally outlast most American made vehicles. Only owned one Toyota, 83 Tercel which was a great little car.

Wow! 350, 000 miles and no misfires! That's impressive. I have a Volkswagen Beetle 2012 and it had a misfire at 10 years old and 77, 000 miles. Easy replacement, but those 350, 000 with no misfires is impressive!

No, I'm not changing my Beetle A5. I love it and you can't talk me out of it. There's no car that has the style, performance, and comfort that The Beetle offers.

I have an 09 v6 AWD with 160k, I love it. My wife and I drove it about 3k miles round trip to Colorado a couple weeks ago for vacation, sleeping in the back along the way. I ended up pulling a Jeep wrangler out of a ditch on a snowy mountain road while we were there, and an Altima lol. Awesome cars
