Until there is a rating system of a player's trustworthiness, this concept is dead in the water. Make no mistake, I think this is absolutely awesome but this is going to be a classic "help i need fuel!" and then being greifed upon arrival. Either the player will just kill the fuel ship, or a fake person will respond and show up to kill a helpless ship.

Sorry everyone but this is about 6 years away. We have a Coffee shop guy there working on and it will most likely take up 1-2 years to develop it and get all the bugs out.

Refueling interface looks pretty decent. I hope we can set pricing to at least one decimal place, preferably two or three.

You just know we'll be spreadsheeting every aspect of the time, money, resources and social capital that went into delivering that fuel, and will want to value it accurately. And many customers will be trying to haggle that price. Whole number pricing won't cut it.

Congratulations, finally something that should have come out in the early years of Star Citizen comes out after a little more than 10 years, well as I always say, they have left me speechless, good job, keep making more ships, at this rate we are going I would love to see when we will have new gameplays, you guys already took out the Hacking, EVA T2, FPS Radar & Scanning from the roadmap; Whats Next ? and the Salvage for when? I find it incredible how people get excited about so little, a refueling interface that could have been done in some months years ago!
And as if that were not enough, it is not even to fill the fuel of carriers or large ships, but so far only 2 fighters that we have with that capacity already implemented.

Losing fuel if the tank over fills? Gas stations right now have a sensor in the nozzle that automatically shuts it off. C'mon CIG!

I hope one day we can thoroughly move away from doing things through chat. I don't even have chat open most of the time when I play. It seems like the whole beacon system should be more complete and better integrated for things like this.

Quantanium. Everyone uses it, but thinks nothing of it. We choose our location, retrieve our ships and take off. We only ever consider this resource when we land at various ports and cities to refuel, and that's if we decide to play honestly. The cost to refuel is such a minimal amount that it might as well not matter at all. Quantanium, in it's current state, has literally zero friction with the majority of the playerbase, while only really mattering to miners. My hope is that once we get Tony Z’s Quanta system in the game we can finally start taking the commodity seriously. There should always be a demand for Quantanium, with alerts and quests going out to miners and traders when supplies run low.

How much fuel would ArcCorp go through in a day, week, or month? A city-planet like that would be in CONSTANT demand. Imagine seeing an endless flow of cargo haulers coming and going from that part of space. It would certainly make it more believable and immersive. Once more systems come online, like the cargo refactor and phyicalized inventory, bounty hunters and pirates will finally have something to do, and it would give miners and haulers more reason to hire security.
