I believe it's all part of God's plan to separate the wheat from the chaff.. I for one am thankful for all the confusions in the world. It makes it so much easier for me to understand the leading of the Holy Spirit when discerning between what is God's truth and all the rest. The Bible is sufficient only if you're trusting in the Holy Spirit to guide you. Trusting in the opinions and philosophies of men will ruin you. You MUST desire the truth, and you MUST trust in the Holy spirit to reveal it to you. I am constantly amazed at how many people believe in doctrines that are convoluted and unworthy because they are based on the ideas or "revelations" of men other than the original texts written by God through men such as the Apostles. Many times these same people cannot even name the scriptures that their ideas are purportedly based on.

In the Netherlands we had a similar translation made about 10 years ago, it was called the street Bible. It was made to simplify the Bible and rewrite it in a language the youth can understand. The idea was good bc the youth doesn’t always understand the words used in the Bible but they took it a step further. The made a Bible for the street where they referred to Jesus as ‘your homie’… or Jesus saying to his disciples ‘bro’. They didn’t simplify it they started using street slang and than your missing your goal to bring the gospel to the youth.
