When you watch Multiplier the most important thing you will learn from day to day is without any doubt: cocaine is a hell of a drug

Mastering is definitely NOT for fixing stuff, but to enhance what is already there and making it ready for the outside world, considering the kind of media you'll put the song one (like online platforms like Youtube, Soundcloud, Spotify, etc).

How many viewers are professional producers?

You can also color your entire track using saturated/amps/tapes etc and cutting some stuff out on a master eq not to fix something but stylize it

I think you've skipped over a very important point which I would argue is even more important than limiting because it's more than just increasing the input gain: The mix. You cannot get a loud limited master if your mix doesn't allow for it in the first place. This is why stem mastering is important. Even if the mix sounds good already, there's always something that can be done to make it better. Awesome vid!

I can't believe people commenting about Multiplier taking drugs. If you think like that then you must definitely have never done drugs, and for sure never have met people on drugs.. and probably never met anyone else than your mom.Get out your room and you will find loads of enthusiastic and dynamic people outside.

I try to master without a limiter. I'm just gonna say how I do it. Please give me any tips If anything I say is horrible.

I try and get my mixdown as brilliant as possible.
take down my master to -6db, I can't have actual headroom because I don't have a limiter.
I put a modified Fletcher munsen on the master. just before this maybe I'll have some multiband compression . depends on the song.

sometimes I have a have a compressor just to act kind of LIKE a limiter.

Then I A B it, and make adjustments.

Thanks for the vid Multiplier.
Video suggestion, can you make a video comparing AU to VST. Im told AU is better but I cross produce between my mac and PC so I have to use VST.
How and why is AU better ? Is it even better at all or is that just a load?

Based on how many have already watched this, there are a LOT (a LOT, a LOT) of people who do what we do. We should have a party

Put some music at the background when you’re talking. I think it’s gonna make the video more dynamic🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

i have a challenge: you look at a waveform of any song without listening to it and then you have to recreate the part of the waveform just with looking at it. if your version sounds like the original - you won :p

I think you mean, "Adding Maximus to your Master Bus."

I guess mixing and mastering it's just art, every song is different so each one needs to have a different approach. I've been producing for almost 7 years now, and I just simply can't get how to handle the mixing and mastering step. I guess it's not meant for everyone.

I really like how you explain stuff bro. keep it up and greetings from mexico!
