Bush speech gaffe: Called Iraq invasion 'unjustified and brutal' instead of Ukraine. In what some are calling a gaffe and an epic 'Freudian slip,' former President George W. Bush accidentally called the invasion of Iraq 'wholly unjustified and brutal' while speaking about Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Bush made the embarrassing gaffe in a speech at his presidential center in Dallas, where he spoke about the importance of fair elections and slammed Russia's autocratic system.  'The result is an absence of checks and balances in Russia, and the decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq,' Bush said, before shaking his head and correcting himself. 'I mean, of Ukraine.'

As the audience fell into awkward silence, Bush muttered under his breath what sounded like the words, 'Iraq too, anyway, ' drawing laughter from the crowd.

The way he laughs it off is an insult to the people whose lives he ruined and stole.

He told the truth for once, and it pained him doing it.

In 2013 I was 10 years old. I remember those days. I am really unable to describe what happened because of the ugliness of the war. But my heart is still broken because of what this person did to my country

I appreciate his bravery, to tell the truth finally, and now he should come clean about 9/11.

He said it out of what he has been facing with his conscience all this while. He has never been free from his conscience but the American ego will not allow him to say sorry to the people he destroyed for no just course.

The irony is how he criticize someone for doing what he did, hipocrisy is strong with this one, basically western politicians in a nutshell.

Not 'Slip of The Tongue', but 'Subconsciousness Order' that comes from his heart. While his soul, always lied to it. At this moment, he lost quickly in interrupting his subconscious orders.

Dude did Hitler in reverse. First he committed the war crimes THEN became a mediocre painter. His presidency a tragedy for the US and the world.
