End-of-Life Ethics - A Sneak Peek

Available on DVD beginning April 19, 2012, this 2.5 hour educational program examines ethical issues and dilemmas that often emerge at the end-of-life. Ethical decisions provide a point where factors that influence end-of-life care, such as finances, laws, values, culture, and technology converge. This program explores the principles of ethical decision-making and the effects of these decisions on patients, families, and healthcare providers. Case studies and interviews with those who have helped shape how we approach end-of-life ethics in the U.S. will supplement a panel discussion of experts moderated by Lynn Sherr, former ABC News 20/20 correspondent.
