Rip William Wold. A son to two, a brother to many, a hero to all.

My son did two tours in Iraq as Army infantry. Came back and his life went sideways for a couple of years. He found support and fought his way back. He's married now and his life is improving. My wife and I love him so much and we're so happy for him.

Unfortunstly he killed himself less than 2 years on the outside. He had no support and nobody understood him. Stand for your brothers. More than that stand for those who get uo when you cant or wont. These people need more love and more recognition. They are just a governement contract for the military but to us they are our brothers and sisters. Moms and dads, sons and daughter, . They deserve more

It breaks my heart to think this was the only time someone actually asked about how he felt. Rest in peace.

I've read that this Marine took his own life after he left. I'm an old man and in tears reading that. Please God accept him and present him with the fulness of your love. Our youth are being wasted and not given the help they need.

Joined up at age 17. Got out at 30 spending four of those years in iraq and Afghanistan. Completely understand what he's saying. It humbles you and changes your entire outlook on life. Its short.

He died from an overdose at 23 when he got home. This is why veterans need our support. He probably felt like he was dead inside after he got home. You NEED therapy after killing someone. I don't care what the cause is.

My brother joined the Army to get away from our area. To stay alive. He was killed as Sgt Charles John Mcclain when an IED detonated on their patrol. He would have never been able to cope after four tours in Iraq & Afghanistan. I know that is true. I miss him terribly but i know he is in a better place then he would have been after the war was over. Thank all of you for your sacrifice to a country that sacrifices nothing for you in return.

Rest Easy man, I wish you had the recourses that are available now.
If any of you are reading this and are suffering. Talk to someone.
There’s so many foundations that are available. Mighty Oaks is a great foundation that has helped thousands of veterans and first responders. You matter.

RIP I'm a disabled Iraq war veteran. Brothers don't be afraid to reach out to one another. We have to be there for each other. Just like we're in the dirt
