and evryone hated on Brandon Jones at last E3 2015 when he was being skeptical and was questioning the way Sean Murray was acting. The truth is out but I'm sure people who hated on him during that time don't even remember. It just sucks that truth comes out late when it kinda doesn't matter anymore

I love the maturity of these guys. These reviews are intelligent, vivid and generally really entertaining to watch.

Brandon Jones... YOU were right after all this time. You need your own award for predicting this decade's most disappointing game.

Omg gametrailer reviews are back. I'm glad I found the gang again, since I've been on GT since 2002.

Very ironic that Ben Moore reviewed the game after that (rather embarrassing) rant against Brandon Jones being skeptical about No Man's Sky during GameTrailers at E3. I hope this is a learning less for all of us to not board the hype train and ask very legitimate questions so we don't give money to crappy developers like Sean Murray, No Man's Sky and Hello Games.

It's so great you guys took the chance to keep doing what you're best at, GameTrailers was the first website I found that actually felt like passion for gaming from journalists and for a long time I always used to go to GameTrailers for reviews, amazing editing, great explanation of the product and always felt genuine like a gamer talking to another gamer about what this game is and if we should buy it. It's great you've taken the same style because it's like I'm falling back in love with the content again. My favorite things from GT was the Retrospectives, I learnt so much about my favourite franchises from them and like these reviews they are incredibly edited and such great quality narration. I hope everything goes well for Easy Allies, I've just subbed and I didn't even know this was a thing if wasn't for a comment from the recent CrowbCat No Mans Sky video with GT clips.

To summarise my opinion:

- Overpriced (should have been 15-20 quid)

-Revealed too early and released too early (should have given extra time to implement more features to round out the experience better/more things to purchase, upgrade and build)

- Game exceeds at being a relaxing exploration game with many dull and beautiful sights in equal measure to balance out the feeling of adventure and discovery, and fufills a very much sought after type of experience with it's quiet, relaxing, almost introspective type of gameplay, that has you pretty much playing for the sake of experiencing the worlds and not chasing some xp bar as you play - though you could grind heavily if you wished to as well. Whatever floats your boat.

-It's both receiving justified criticism and unjust at the same time with the sheer amounts of hatred (most likely from those that haven't even played it), as if it was the worst game to ever be made, when in fact it is a game with loads of potential, yet has simply been held back with a stream of bad decisions, both marketing and game design wise.

Those interested should give it a try once it goes on sale, as I truly find it a unique and much needed type of game that was worthy of my time and dare I say - money! It encourages the joy of discovery and exploration for no other reason than the enjoyment of discovery and exploration. Never have I taken soooo many screenshots on PS4 before as I encountered what consider to be beautiful, strange, almost outright ridiculous sights, whether from the landscapes or flying octopus's in
the sky (some of the stuff is surprisingly weird and unexpected.)

I was not expecting Ben to be down on No Man's Sky, he's been such a big advocate for the game for so long now. I've been eagerly waiting to hear his opinion, it's seems like such a divisive game for everyone but I had imagined Ben would be on the positive end of the spectrum.

I still remember the heated argument Ben and Brandon had about No Man's Sky at the end of last years E3 (I believe it was last year, sorry if I'm mistaken), after all that's happened I would love to see you two sit down together and discuss the game in depth!

Just sticking on various Easy Allies review videos because I just discovered it. Great to hear Brandon's voice again.

And I have to also add that this (and the current NMS Reddit forum) has to be the most adult No Mans Sky discussion board of any kind I have came across. And I appreciate that these guys gave an honest review on the actual game and not a review on its hype. Its the most down to earth review of this game I have heard. Great work guys. So glad I rediscovered your art.

From what I've seen, I think the game would be better if there were actual 50 hand-crafted planets (levels that would always get you to the next one) and not 82 zillion generated.
There is a reason why are games like Witcher 3 or Half-Life so good. It's called level design.

The best EZA review so far. I can see Brandon was having a blast editing it.
You guys are too good!

man I literally teared up when easy allies emerged after the death of GT. As a nerdy teenager, you guys brought some of the sharpest, most well thought out reviews of video games that I had ever seen. Every game concept and idea that rolled through my head as a kid was narrated by Brandon Jones's disturbingly persuasive voice. Seeing this review on a game that GT wished wouldn't suck (GT Countdown ) made me even more excited for the future of Easy Allies, and relieved that your high standards of sharp, clear, and eloquent journalism will continue for years to come. Bravo.

Base building would be awesome if you could construct your own Space Station that acts as a hub and travels with you through each galaxy. It could act as a garage allowing you to specifically build and store ships for specific tasks I.e fast ships for travelling, combat ships, cargo ships etc instead of being limited to one. It would be awesome to make it grow and expand each time you visit new star systems.
Another addition that would be awesome is some kind of motorbike/hover bike etc to allow you to travel extensively on foot without having to launch and land constantly which wastes time and resources.
