I love that mag count thing on the hud though

That would ruin it because people would start selling exotics online and they would lose all value

If they had a system that allowed you to trade loot, but only during the countdown at the end of an activity and only loot earned in that activity, I think we'd have a nice middle ground.

All the times I got a spare exotic at the end of a raid, while playing with friends that didn't have it yet it would have been really nice to let me swap that exotic with something they got.

Could literally do what the division 2 does and have droppable weapons and armor. But players need to have been with you during the activity to acquire them within a certain amount of time.

modern blizzard would've absolutely advocated for it

Literally make trading like phantasy star online 2. You have the option to trade and once people agree on both sides then the trade goes through

What they should do is add MATERIAL TRADING. Need an exotic cipher? I'll give you one for an acendent alloy make it so both parties have to confirm, and give like a 10-second window where you can cancel. And if anything is changed after both hit confirmed both have to confirm it again.

I’d say that if Bungie has something that would say “this item is worth [estimated or exact value of in-game currency or items]” then it could work, similar to what Warframe has. Warframe’s community has made things, with the help of the devs if I’m not mistaken, to help players figure out how much a specific piece of gear (mods, prime components, etc.) is worth so they know if they’re getting scammed.
It would make sense to add that in at some point. I have gear that my friend who just started playing could rally do good with.

Trading really should have been a thing, i think i had 7 gjallahorns before some people in my clan even had 1 despite doing every piece of content available every week, especially with the addition of rolls on weapons nowadays it would be such a QoL upgrade imo.

A feature I’d love is trading. Not trading guns or armor that effects gameplay. Trading eververse item cosmetics that have zero impact on gameplay and only are about style.

I would of liked a gift an item to a lower level player system, something like sending it to the postmaster but with tag saying “ a guardian gifted you this weapon “ or something

If trading was added it'd make sense if it was only for trading materials

Bungie should have added it. I play Warframe and it's a godsend to be able to earn the premium currency through trades.

If they took notes from warframe with trading it probably wouldn't be too bad

Trading would entirely ruin the loot economy. It always invites gold sellers, scammers, etc.

As much as it adds social and economic incentives and is amazing, I don't think it should be in the game.

Imagine being able to pull an exotic from collections and trading it

There isnt enough loot and ways to get it for trading, just look at warframe as a prime example
