Not a single word about how the pilot is doing other than “injured”?

"Miraculously only the pilot was injured"...I don't know if that is good choice of words.

1:30 "sixty gallons of fuel have to be cleaned up" seems unlikely considering the fuel capacity is only 52 gallons

'Luckily no campers' - aka the pilot did an amazing job of landing

'Someone up there is watching me'- yes the pilot

This report acted like they had hoped the pilot died..

Oh, I feel for that student. She is very lucky to be alive.

They're really going out of their way to make the pilot look like the bad guy. Planes are machines. They fail. She landed the plane without a running engine without getting herself or anyone else killed.

When learning to be a pilot you have to take a number of solo flights meaning you need to know how to manage the plane in an emergency.

Brave your lady, she stayed calm, wish they would focus more on the surviver.

Many of these flight schools operate on a shoestring . Please don't automatically blame the student pilot . If the investigation shows the school put this pilot in an unsafe aircraft it should be shut down . It is sad that this girl will probably not pursue her private pilots license and may not fly again . I hope she has no lasting physical injuries and will overcome this traumatic experience .

Injured? Injured how? Bruise? Or, broken neck?

I think it wouldn't break the privacy of the pilot to simply leave us with the "I'm good" or thumbs up type of sign off. That seems fairly standard.

Great that "the campers" are all fine. But, knowing that the young pilot is okay or not might have been a bit more... well, informative?

“So glad they didn’t hit any campers” how about “so glad they didn’t die”???

Not only did she crash land a tin can without killing anyone else but most importantly she survived! 🎉❤ kids got ovaries of steel the only reason she’s alive is she didn’t let that panic take over her senses completely

So the details about 60 gallons of fuel are more important than the pilots health/condition???

You have to watch 2/3 into the video to find out that the pilot survived

Maybe instead of saying “luckily only the pilot was injured” say “luckily the pilot was only injured”. Word choice!!

Thanks for putting a shirt on for the interview.

I'm glad she survived but why is a Student Pilot flying solo cross the country? Anyone else see the issue with this situation?
