Good for reposting this! Grace was so beautiful at the height of the Summer of Love. As I watch this in a Northern California Summer night, gratitude fills me as a strictly 15-year old 1969 observer. A little bit of those times still lives in my 68-year old ❤

1969, I had been drafted in the army and was made an MP. They sent a early LP of the album Woodstock. We went to the USO club sat in folding chairs and listened to thee record. I guess we had our own little mini concert. Good time believe it or not. Even in Europe everyone was following the events in that small New York town as they unfolded.

Great footage that I haven’t seen before. I was initially bummed that there was no sound but then I realized I can still hear it from memory.I was just back there last week to see the commemorative brick that my kids had put in for me.My friend Steve now living in Dana Point CA drove us up on his motorcycle and it was the most beautiful 3days ever.No regrets only great memories.☮️

Only people smart enough to read the description get sound with their video.

Thank you for uploading this. It was a pleasure to see and hear.

Best footage of this historical event I've seen. The Airplane members all look healthy. Joan looks angelic. Who r strutting n their Droog attire. The whole atmosphere seems idyllic, pleasant. What a visual TREAT. Thanx 2 the Cam Op's 4 their captures. Love the vibrant color and all the candid close ups.

Not even one obese person has ever been spotted in any Woodstock footage. Prove me wrong if you can. I think that tells a lot about the health state our youth and general population is in now.

22/900k people read basic English and understood a 7 word description. Thx for the link this is my favorite concert, it's so hard to find nowadays.

Stupid copyright, but at least there are links for the sound.

Wish I were there. Born 18 years too late, unfortunately. There will never be another Woodstock again. Ever.

I am glad I watched this video. Whoever put it together offered viewers who saw the initial video much more.

It appears that many clickers are "reading challenged". The link to the full vid WITH AUDIO is clearly described above.

I told my wife I was going but remembering I had 3 young sons at the time.. Yes, I was drinking and usually I did what I wanted to do.. I knew work would call because we were having problems with the runway lights I was the airport electrician and sure nuff they did and I went and fixed them..I got home from that job and took care of the kids while the wife went shopping.. It all worked out for the best.. Later seeing those crowds I'm glad I didn't go...
I got sober in 1977. Been sober for 43 years..

Thanks for the link. I was 12 at the time, I turned 13 that October. LIFE Magazine gave me my 1st exposure to this great event. I was living about 2 hours away in eastern Pennsylvania at the time.
