The Greek Island Hopping Experience | A Ferry Journey

In this video I spend my last day on the Greek island of Lesvos, return my rental car and then catch a ferry to the island of Lemnos.

When I was touring the islands in 1977, haha, the boats between islands were so small and kind of rustic. I remember going below deck and getting a toasted cheese and salami sandwich for maybe 25 cents or so. There you be a man using a panini grill. It was so fun, and being 19, a delight to have a cheep meal. Usually I stayed with families who rented out a room or two. I think about 13$ on most islands, even Santorini. It still looks beautiful, and I appreciate traveling along with you Gabriel! Safe travels and beautiful swims!! ❤❤

In Lemnos island there is the Poliochni archaeological site wich considered the oldest city in Europe from the 5th millennia bc

September is the best time to do island hopping in Greece. Not so crowded !

You did it to my Island Gabriel! So great! Keep in mind that from the place you eat in the video called Romeikos Gialos you see Athos mountain on a clear day! I'm not on the Island I live in Thessaloniki, and wish you a great time! Had made post about great places 2 days before on a video when you was on Lesbos!

The airport on Limnos is a big and normal one for passengers. Are they no ferrys to Samothraki from Limnos?

They got repellent for the mosquitoes, you plug it in and they don't bother you at night just leave your door open a bit for fresh air to flow in the room.

18:25 Gabriel, I think you have to do it like this: from Lemnos you go to the mainland by ferry to Kavala (you can book a ticket online, but the ferry doesn't go every day, only a few times during the week), from Kavala you take a ferry to Prinos in Thassos (I think you have to buy a ticket directly from the carrier, not online). Then from Thassos you return to the mainland, in Kavala, or in Keramoti, and then from there you have to travel east (by bus or car) to Alexandroupoli, because only from Alexandroupoli you have a direct ferry to Samothrace.
