Thanks for the comparison! I love how you did back-to-backs of both guitars. This really highlighted the tonal differences between the two. I bet they sound great layered over each other in recordings. This was a bit of apples to oranges, though. I'd love to hear the OM2H vs the OM-28!

I love my Collings OM1A JL. Best new guitar ive played yet.
Collings is Mahogany, Martin is rosewood so will have different flavor of sounds. But Collings builds perfection.

Both beautiful sounding guitars but the Mayer model is my favourite - would love to have the chance to play both !

great video! jm is more woody and warm(dark) collings is more bright and clear i think.. for me martin always

Why is the JL tuned up a half step and the Martin down a half step?

martin louder cause of rosewood. but i prefer collings cause i like mellow and dry guitars
