Okay, I’m gonna give a quick recap of what I understand, The SMG4 crew have been held hostage by the main villain of this entire arc known as Puzzlevision, AKA: A TV with sentience and the ability to (within his dimension) Torture his victims by making them do whatever he so pleases (in which his main goal is to reach “Perfection”. As established as he manipulated SMG4 into buying the “Perfect” Keyboard and making him slave away for a perfect video.) Then comes the Western Spaghetti Movie (Where Wren decides to kidnap the crew into a simulation, and if you look into the map, Puzzlevision was in one of the carts, meaning he also likely Manipulated Wren into believing that SMG4 and his crew were “defects” or imperfect. The final act he did before his first major debut was Manipulating Mario into stealing SMG3’s Diary (Which can be bought online and searched up now I believe) as he likely disguised himself as Marty, which in the video before WOFTI 2023 (Mario Plays TF2 Ft.Marty) Marty had some kind of ability related to Puzzle-visions. Which is manipulating the game to his favor. Which resulted in them getting their first (And only) Win. Then during WOFTI 2023. There was always a looming presence about Marty, even though it was confirmed he was just a cardboard cutout and not possessed, I believe that behind it was actually Puzzlevision himself, as we saw in the end, he was congratulating the viewers into choosing the right choices, meaning he WANTED us to lose, he’s a manipulator, a egotistical villain who strives on the feeling and meaning of Perfection, he wants to rid of all these defects, or deranged senses of humor, and who does he mainly focus on, 3 People. SMG4, the one who creates all these videos, SMG3, a guardian of the dead memes and rival (or friend?) of SMG4, and Mario, with Mario showing time and time again that he isn’t easily handled when something is wrong, even if he is under influence (Like with Marty, as Marty was essentially just Puzzle-vision puppeteering a cardboard cutout of a horribly drawn version of Mario). With Puzzlevision finally snapping this episode, and past episodes trying to keep his cool around Mario (in Mario’s Mysteries, Mario starts to gain sentience AKA: He figured out a way to make the clues abide to him, which at first may seem like it was apart of the show, because it was originally, but it showed that Mario is completely different compared to the rest due to him being an animal 3 different times in order to restrain him, in the second video, he is aware he’s in a simulation, but Puzzlevision makes SMG3 believe he’s just going insane and kicks him out, in the third is where Mario is just… Mario, sure, he’s an animal once again, but this animal is confirmed to be an alien, which means Mario was being called unironically by Puzzlevision an alien, an anomaly among the rest of the crew, in which infuriates him, but also makes him afraid of the future, But Mario does what he wants half the time, and other times he unintentionally pissed off Puzzlevision due to his carefree and empty headed nature. Finally, is the Gameshow, where Puzzlevisions true colors are shown, in which Mario pesters him so much, that his sheer retardation actually breaks the laws that Puzzlevision sets in his dimension. Meaning Puzzlevision snaps, and goes nuts, as he dawns upon himself this isn’t gonna work anymore, and just breaks his own world, likely turning it into the static hell we saw Mario get engulfed in at the end… Hopefully he doesn’t see this comment, because otherwise, I am not in a good spot if he finds out I understand his plan.


TL;DR: Mario is so stupid, that Puzzlevisions world cannot abide to his stubborn and carefree nature, so he loses it after nearly 2 years of planning.

I love how up until this point, most of Mr. Puzzles’ control has been working completely as he intended, all his victims have done exactly what he wants, he’s been such a happy goober, and his ratings have been going just fine… and yet the moment he gives these guys even a _sliver_ of autonomy, *everything* falls apart.
