Zodiacal Light Time Lapse

Time lapse of the Zodiacal Light, one of the most beautiful things you can see in the night sky.

Zodiacal light is a faint, roughly triangular, diffuse white glow seen in the night sky that appears to extend up from the vicinity of the Sun along the ecliptic or zodiac.[1] It is best seen just after sunset and before sunrise in spring and autumn when the zodiac is at a steep angle to the horizon. Caused by sunlight scattered by space dust in the zodiacal cloud, it is so faint that either moonlight or light pollution renders it invisible.

Shot on a Nikon D4 & Nikkor 14-24mm F2.8
ISO 3200, WB 4100K, 30 second exposure.

btw, when I look into the lake, I can see clouds move, butt no clouds while the milky way moves in the background, What's happening there? I'm confused butt mesmerized!

I like the star trails at the end. If the stars and constellations are just making circles AROUND US.... then we can't be flying through space or we would constantly be seeing inconsistent constellations that we could NOT set our "watches" to for centuries.
