2020 Porsche 992 Carrera 4S on Tail of The Dragon! - One Take

The 2020 Carrera 4S is the AWD variant of the all-new 992-generation of Porsche 911. With a twin-turbo 3.0L flat-six engine making 443 hp, it's got the power to hit sixty in under three seconds and crack 190 at the top end. There's a new 8-speed PDK gearbox, a new interior, and a new sound.

To get this video, Porsche flew me to Stuttgart, gave me a Carrera 4S, which I drove to Leipzig. We then put the cars on the plane, which we also got on, and flew to Cincinatti, to then drive the cars to Tail of the Dragon, and eventually, to Atlanta. Porsche Cars NA covered the expenses of all that so I could make this video.

Having just started to do some car review videos of my own, I cannot exaggerate how hard it is to do what Matt is doing in this video, i.e. speaking to camera in a cogent way while also driving at a decent pace on a road that he doesn't know like the back of his hand. It's genuinely impressive, and it speaks to his experience and his quality as a driver and a presenter.

We live in Charlotte, about 2.5 hrs from TOTD. My son and I take our Mk4 R32 and TT there several times a year, especially Wookies in the Woods. It's a blast! Glad you visited Matt! 👍👍

I've driven the 992 4S at a launch event on Porsche's Leipzig cicuit and the handling is just otherworldly. I especially liked the sheer amount of thight corner grip and that the awd system is essetially rear-wheel drive except when you need it to pull you back on track. It just works perfectly. Absolutely in love with the 992.
