Energy Access and Reliability on Tribal Lands Listening Session

This past year (2021), the enaction of Energy Act of 2020 included specific requirements for the U.S. Department of Energy to conduct research and report back to Congress on Energy Access and Reliability on Tribal Lands. This listening session is dedicated to exploring the issues and potential solutions to these topics.

The goal of the listening session is to gain important insight directly from Native Nations regarding the current status of unelectrified homes and electricity reliability issues facing your communities. The Office of Indian Energy wants to provide Native Nations the opportunity to make recommendations on the development of the report and later on the findings and recommendations.
