Not everyone can play both pro baseball and football but Kyler Murray did it and so did Drew Henson, Deion Sanders, Bo Jackson, John Elway etc. so it’s not impossible or unheard of

I think Deuce waited for his MLB evaluation before commiting to a school. My understanding is his MLB grade is 6 to 7 rounds so I'm not too worried about it. He can help USC's baseball too.
