Well, after years of this not coming to mind, it played in my head when I saw that the cover letter for an important job opportunity I just sent off had my name—and ONLY my name, on the next page.

The whole dang letter fit on the first page… except for my name, all alone on a blank page. This played in my head when I noticed it… after having sent it off already.
