Homeschool has been wildly difficult for us lately, both finding routine in the madness of building a house and homestead as well as in the push/pull of the mother son relationship. I just about fell out of my chair when Miah said, “kid you ain’t right”! That’s what my Granddaughter tells my brother in law! It’s so funny to hear!

One of my best memories was in elementary school-we got to have a tiny garden and we grew garlic. We got to walk a short distance to the general store and our teacher bought French bread and cheese and we went down to the nearby creek and ate our raw spicy garlic with our cheese and bread. It was so fun and so good. ❤❤❤

I tried to get my students out of the mindset that something is “hard”. Some things may be challenging but they have the skill set to solve a problem/activity. Made for a more enjoyable lesson and we had fun seeing the variety of ways to solve the problem.
