That is snazzy... still not going to replace my M9.

It’s technically not even a hi power, no parts are interchangeable with the old one and the inners of the gun are completely different. Not saying it’s a bad gun but FN completely missed the point which is a surprise.

They borrowed from the P-226, unfortunately they used cast parts and a plastic guide rod. Not good enough for $1, 200 FN, not when a forged Sig can be had for 1k and a CZ-75b of better quality can be had for $750 with the Omega trigger that blows every other DA trigger I’ve ever felt away. That’s just as cool and a greater value. FN values it’s name and buzz a little too much. The SA35 is at least a true clone with a better trigger. The new HP is a Sig P226 with the browning front end slapped on it.

I see the updated Ruger p89 in single action is out 🥱. It’s not a Hi Power its a “High” Power and although similar in looks and name, it’s not in design. It’s neither modem or retro but a confused combination and overpriced. It’s Malibu Stacy with a new hat and yes I hate it. Sorry, but I just love the original design that much.
