To save the environment variables after pasting the lines in "~/.zprofile" file, you have to hit control+X to popup yes/no options. After hitting yes press enter directly. It will save the changes.

after you installed the JDK zulu
You did not set the JAVA_HOME variable to your ~/.zshrc or bash equivalent, or did I missed something?
I'm new to MacOS, a lot of stuff I've been installing these past few days
Such as vscode, need a PATH variable on the profile for the terminal for it to work

For cocoapods can we use brew install cocoapods or gem install cocoapods which is better or does it cause any issues
