Don't read too much into why India accepted the invitation . When powerful countries like the G7 invite you, you accept with courtesy . It's how you hold to your principles at the meeting that counts .
As to those protesting so called climate change and the shift to renewable energy, they obviously haven't thought thinks through .
What will happen when the green energy isn't enough to heat their homes or cool it down during extremely hot weather like now .
Will they take responsibility when people start freezing to death or dying due to extreme heat .

On January 19, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) discovered the four frozen, in minus 30 degrees Celsius, near the Emerson town of Manitoba province. According to RCMP, the four were part of a larger 11-member group of undocumented citizens from India who was allegedly trying to illegally cross over to the US from Canada.
