A client of mine said to me the other day, “I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you”. I can’t remember what we were talking about, but what I do remember was that she held up her hands and pressed her thumbs. As Germans naturally do!

But of course, in English, we cross our fingers, as you can see in the video.

I wonder what other cultures do? Do you know?
