And this movie came in 2005. This was so ahead of its time its ridiculous.

Considering that Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo were all basically incomplete versions of Sephiroth, the fact that Cloud can not only fight but best them is very impressive. Loz was more than a match for Tifa and Cloud was fighting him and Yazoo at the same time. It wasn’t even that they were getting in each others way. They were working well together. Cloud simply overpowered and out skilled them even without materia.

Nomura is actually an action genius; forgot which director or action director (not from The Marvels) saying how much the action scenes in Advent Children actually changed Hollywood action sequences

There will never be another final fantasy movie with action like this, this truly did not give a fuck, it went absolutely crazy, now everything is all about realism and obeying physics and slow realistic moment

I love the choreography from 4:20 and 5:02 ongoing! Just goes to show how flexible Clouds fighting style has become even without any additions like materia. He wasn't sitting around and kept refining his own fighting style, so cool!
