The death toll from Turkey’s floods has risen to 77 as emergency crews searched for more victims and survivors in the Black Sea region.
Turkey’s Disaster Management Authority said 62 people have died in Kastamonu province only.
It said at least 47 people are still missing in Kastamonu and Sinop, while 7 people are injured.
It said rescue and relief efforts continue in the flood-hit areas, with thousands of personnel and other huge equipment deployed.
Triggered by heavy rain, floods caused buildings to collapse, smashed bridges, clogged streets with wrecked cars and cut power supplies.
