I've never seen this movie, but his actions with threatening suicide to make her agree to what she's declined several times male me think it ends with her murder.

I know it doesn't, but, realistically, a totally happy ending with someone like that seems unlikely.

Do people not realize he was joking and just trying to be funny at 2:04 cause he had a crush on her? He even apologized to her later saying it was stupid and he shouldn’t have done it and that he didn’t really mean it. Teenage boys do the most stupid and dangerous things cause they think it’s funny. I love the carousel scene! Minus the part about her, pulling down his pants. That was dumb and unnecessary. It would’ve made it very difficult for him to get down safely.
