I usually listen to this at night when Im alone, in my bedroom, and just think about deep thoughts/my past for hours

This song somehow reminds me of taking the bus home in late evening while it's cold and rainy, just watching the world go by while getting lost in my own thoughts. I imagine different things every time I hear it. I really love how it fades away in a surreal cloud of sound. Chills. Amazing how such a simple composition can be so effective. I love this kind of minimalistic music. No lyrics, no fashion, just emotion.

Reminds me of when I lived in Taiwan and would walk the city streets alone at night in the rain. I loved the rainy street lit up by the neon lights. This captures the feel very well.

When I fully immerse myself into the music I imagine this: random guy that enjoys being with himself and likes to be with his own thoughts. He doesn't approach people, he only responds to those who engage with him. He is emotionally hardened, but very soft spoken. His mannerisms show that he is of the utmost respect and morality, even when nobody is watching. He likes being with himself so much so that he would sometimes just leave parties and hang out by himself outside of the house. And although he likes being by himself, the muffled music from the party and the loud people enjoying themselves, oblivious to his situation, add to his serenity and calmness. He feels so at peace with himself and clear minded outside of these parties that he would be satisfied with the life he had and would not necessarily want to die, but would not at all be upset if he did in that moment. It is 2 am, foggy, and chilly and he has no jacket, and he IS cold, but it just doesn't affect him because its so insinificant in the moment as he contemplates how nothing really matters and how absurd life is at all. Thinking about this makes him laugh and smile. He feels something special about a girl, but because he doesn't approach people, he doesn't do anything about it. He does not complain about this though, because he understands that that's who he is and that if he were to complain about it, he would be hypocritical because he actively does not approach people. One day outside of a party they run into each other at 2 am where it is foggy and chilly. Because of how soft spoken this man is, he does not advertently flirt with her, but still hopes that she can see who he is. I could go on and on and probably create an entire book on the emotion that this song gives me.

Perfect song to play when I'm making my way home on a those rainy days of winter feeling isolated, depressed and exhausted. This song is very soothing for those times. I love how it becomes so distant and distorted and just fades away in the end. It feels so heavy and light at the same time.
