I have a 2016 corolla LE and I just did some preventive maintenance at the Toyota dealer. Mine has 130, 000 on it. I did the transmission fluid, engine fluid, radiator coolant replacement, serpentine belt replacement, and multi point inspection. Reliable is they are.

Thanks for your history on the car, just bought one myself and makes me optimistic of the reliability on mine which has 39, 000 miles. Shows that you maintain it well too which is very important.

I think you can push it to 400, 000 miles

Thanks for video, I just wanted to add my two cents. The transmission fluid is extremely easy to change. I got 10 bottles, 1 qt each of ATF WS from a Toyota dealer. When you remove the drain plug it pours about 2.5 qt, just add same measure that comes out. I did it 4 times and I calculated that only about 25% of the old fluid remains. Also about the spark plugs I wonder how you paid so little, I always like to replace them with the original Denso ones and they are like $13 each. I wish you very inexpensive next 100K miles

Coo. l would advise replacing power steering fluid as well (unless it's electric). I change mine every 50k miles. I have a 2006 Matrix (which is a corolla wagon) with 199, 000 miles. Also, make sure you change oil every 5k miles and it will last for decades.

Paid $10, 999 for 2013 Corolla LE 79, 000 miles. 1 owner car fax shows very well maintained. I hope I didn’t over pay too much with these rising car prices. Family really needed a second car..

Yeah that's real, very reliable car, very usef here in my country but they don't take care of it at all, i think it's a good idea to inspect the ignition coils, clean the fuel injectors and replace the fuel pump filter after a 150k on the road, it will make you feel the car new again

My 05 has 250, 000. If you take care of it well, it'll keep going

Excellent maintenance. Items you didn’t mention but may be changed are PCV and power steering fluid both are inexpensive.

After two years and eleven months, my Civic EX-T has 72, 600 miles. I always service my car early (between 4, 200-5, 000 miles using Honda full synthetic oil and filter). Already changed the transmission fluid, engine air filter and cabin air filter twice, spark plugs, brake pads, cut the rotors, and replaced all four tires. Ive only used top-tier fuel offering the highest detergent (Shell Nitro Plus 93 Octane) to mitigate carbon deposits in the intake valves. My maintenance cost after nearly three years is significantly higher than your Corolla over five years because I drive a lot more and I have a 1.5 liter turbo engine. But there have been no issues with my Civic, to date.

You can push changing the serpentine belt and the spark plugs to 160k. I just serviced an Uber driver's Scion iM at 162k. Replaced plugs, old ones had normal wear, replaced belt (squeaking on startup) was a little worn (stretched) but not cracked and wasn't burning oil. I offered to do a coolant flush with thermostat replacement, and flushing of brake fluid and power steering fluid, but he deferred.

Hi buddy, I have a similar Corolla E170. I'm having issues with the steering. It gets intermittently heavy. No fault codes generated. I have got the EPS motor and the steering rack replaced. No use. When it's light, i can turn it with my pinky finger, when it's heavy, it requires some effort which can ultimately get tiring. Any guesses? im sick of the steering. Power steering motor and rack have been replaced

Just bought a 2015 Corolla S with 98, 000 miles on it. I’m guessing mostly highway? I’m planing on taking it in for a coolant flush and trans fluid change, but my question is what is the interval on the water pump?? The Toyota maintenance book is extremely vague if you plan on driving the car past 120, 000. Also is there any other critical maintenance coming up in the next 50k?

I have a 2017 just turning and ive done oil changes air filter and tires thats it. On my way to replacing plugs but i dont know about serp belt i dont see any cracks in it. Very reliable im comfortable driving it anywhere. Not real crazy about the ccv trans though it feels like its being driven by bands and slingshotted around.

I’m surprised you changed the belt. Those are good for the life of the engine, well not quite, but a lot longer than 100k miles. The belt will easily outlast the water pump. No reason to change the belt and leave the old water pump.

How often should you replace the serpentine belt and spark plugs on this vehicle. I have a 2014 Corolla and I think the maintenance schedule is about the same. Thanks
