Elon's Time at Tesla Ending?

I worked at Tesla starting in July of 2017 as an Operations Analyst out of the Bethlehem, PA distribution center facility and left as a Program Manager based out of Austin, TX as of September 2021. I spent most of my time in the distribution and supply chain organizations.

Before Tesla, I was a Director of Business Intelligence and Pricing at the largest Pet Food & Supply distributor in the US, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies based out of Easton, PA. My wife and I also owned a small business in Bethlehem, PA between 2016 and 2019.

My thoughts are my own and are not representative of everyone who currently works, or has worked at Tesla.

Elon is certainly very talented, , but he has put together five very good companies run by many very talented people and guided all five through the toughest times.Tesla, SpaceX, the Boring Company, Twitter, and Nueralink would all survive and prosper even if Elon left today.
I do hope Elon lives a long prosperous and happy life. He really deserves to!

once elon is out, Tesla is out. Leadership and management is key to business success. His direction to provide the right product at the right time playing chess to win the competitors is second to none.

Again, with the Twitter crap, give it a break Dan. Voices like yours created whole twitter non-issue. If you would have just taken a let's see what happens attitude, instead of freaking out, it would have been water under the bridge. These so- called Bulls all love Elon until he actually does something and then they forget what made them all their money in the first place, namely Elon. But their panic did allow a bunch of us to buy the dip, again, so we just ignore these guys and stick to our belief in the fundamentals of the business.

The Elon “premium” is most certainly not back. Demand concerns have been reduced. I’m optimistic on Tesla’s technology, supply chain, and infrastructure moats, but Musk has become a net negative for the stock and company’s brand. The Tesla community has their heads in the sand on this. Additional research showing brand equity destruction along with continued demand weakness in Europe and China especially despite price drops will bring this issue back to the forefront post-Investor Day.
