XK8/XKR / F-Type Enthusiasts Club GrowlerXVI 2019

The XK8/XKR Enthusiasts Club & F-type Enthusiasts Club GROWLER XVI event 2019 was held at the Sywell Classic: Pistons and Props motoring festival. This huge event combines historic racers, hot rods and motorbikes with classic planes and vintage music, celebrating classic motoring on the ground and in the air. Watch amazing live action on the transformed ‘Racing Runway’ and ‘Sprint Strip’ with iconic Formula 1 cars, Hot Rods, Dragsters and Motorcycles all in action. Up in the skies; expect to see a variety of breath taking aerial displays & acrobatics from a variety of display teams. Live Music will be playing with a superb line of bands performing in the Scarf & Goggles bar. With a vintage fun fair and shopping village it will make a great weekend for all the family. I’m no fan of classic cars so I’ll never understand why I find the XK8 so much better looking than the XK. I find the last in the line XK nicer and think that’s only because it looks closer to an XK8.
