📈🔍Graphing r=2cos(theta) in polar form🔍📈- Learn how to create a polar representation of 2cos(theta) and how to graph it in the polar coordinate system. In the left side of the Cartesian plane, when the angle is 0, a value of 2 is produced. This means that on the right side, you start at the origin and move over 2 units to the right to get the point (2, 0) in that position. At pi/4 radians, the value goes up to approximately 1.2-1.4. On the right side, mark a line at pi/4 radians and go up to 1.4, giving you the point (1.4, pi/4). At pi/2 radians, r=0, so mark a dot at the origin. At 3pi/4, r is negative because it is below the horizontal axis. Mark a mirror image of the line across the x-axis to get the point (-1.4, 3pi/4). At pi, r is negative 2, so mark a mirror image of the line across the y-axis to get the point (-2, pi). Connect the points to form an arc, and repeat for the other arcs. This results in a circle. 1️⃣ What is the equation for the polar representation of 2cos(theta)?
- The equation is r=2cos(theta).

2️⃣ What is the first point you plot on the right side of the Cartesian plane when the angle is 0?
- The point is (2, 0).

3️⃣ What is the point you plot on the right side of the Cartesian plane at pi/4 radians?
- The point is (1.4, pi/4).

4️⃣ What do you do on the right side of the Cartesian plane when r is 0 at pi/2 radians?
- Mark a dot at the origin.

5️⃣ What is the point you plot on the right side of the Cartesian plane at 3pi/4 radians?
- The point is (-1.4, 3pi/4).

6️⃣ Why do you mark a mirror image of the line across the x-axis when r is negative at 3pi/4 radians?
- You mark a mirror image of the line across the x-axis because r is negative below the horizontal axis.

7️⃣ What is the point you plot on the right side of the Cartesian plane at pi radians?
- The point is (-2, pi).

8️⃣ Why do you mark a mirror image of the line across the y-axis when r is negative at pi radians?
- You mark a mirror image of the line across the y-axis because r is negative to the left of the y-axis.

9️⃣ How do you connect the points to form an arc?
- Connect the points by drawing a line between them.

🔟 What does the final graph of r=2cos(theta) look like?
- The final graph looks like a circle.

1️⃣1️⃣ What is the polar coordinate system?
- The polar coordinate system is a way of representing points in a plane using a radius and an angle.

1️⃣2️⃣ How do you graph in the polar coordinate system?
- To graph in the polar coordinate system, you plot points using the radius and angle given by the equation.

1️⃣3️⃣ What is the difference between the Cartesian and polar coordinate systems?
- The Cartesian coordinate system uses
