Mjx bugs 4w antenna upgrade

I try to put wifi antenna on mjx bugs 4w and i took the fake antenna and change a real antenna

I do believe that you idea is wrong. The controller only handle the (2.4ghz) signal as an independent source. No WIFI what so ever. So the only thing you are accomplishing is greater distance. The only permit for WIFI would be from within the drone itself. And not sure which colored line it would be the (GREY & BLACK) located on top of camera module. I could be wrong but I believe it is the (GREY) one. Test and see. Then leave results. Thanks! : )

Im kinda grumpy as I expected much more as far as the camera and wifi cut outs to the iphone. it sucks. It flys wellm not nearly as fast a my 2 bugs 5w's but iget a bit father before cutout but not nearly enough. I know the 2 sticks are fake, but i expected more from all the rave rieveiws .. is there a hack or something i can do in addition to this so i dont lose wifi signal/ have to hope the drone hasnt crashed. I know the rules but its so hard to keep an eve on that little black fdot 1k away. and wifi comes and goes.

This mod won't increase fpv as the drone is what gives off the wifi signal. NOt the controller.

was there a single antenna on the original transmitter ( in the controller ) how did you join, splice the two new antennas - do they each get half the available transmit power from the transmiter i.e. are you better with one tranmistting on full power ...
