This year Britannia actually has 2 proof designs and 2 bullion designs. I have all in 1 oz or 2 oz silver. Also it is the 35th anniversary of the modern gold, 25th of the modern silver, and 350th of the Britannia on British coins. Sadly none of the coins have an anniversary privy mark.

Only nine 2 oz gold regular design Britannias 🤯! Well done RM. They know the market very well compared to other mints no doubt. Very good control of stuff based on tracking sales all these years.

I'm very interested in this proof but I'm new to collecting. I would hate to spend the asking price for this and find milk spots down the road. How worried should I be and does buying proofs vs BU offer any protection from spotting?

Are these euro and germania mint coins actually maintaining or appreciating the premium? I haven't heard of any doing particularly well. And the mintage doesnt even seem to do much with these newer mints. What is happening with them?

I ordered a couple from the Britannia range, I really like the designs this year .. still waiting for delivery though ...🤔 and obviously the Germania Mints latest design is "a must have"
I just hope that we will see a new design of the bullion Britannia, maybe from the of the artists that designed this years coins... even just for a few years...

The RM seems to get away with alot like issuing subpar QC/QA stuff, never many PF70 proofs and still maintains or appreciates value/premium. Meanwhile Germania and Euro mints theres very few damaged and QC/QA and minting tech looks better. Or certainly different, arguably more advanced techniques outside of blasting and stamping tech which has been going for ages.
