Anderson forgot to ask how much this political/military deployment is costing the tax payer. I really feel bad for the troops being away from their families during the holiday. If they were going to a conflict area around the world is one thing, but to the border? The CBP and National Guard can take care of that. I just see it as more wasted $ for political purposes. That money like the senator said could be used in ways that will truly impact the vets lives, hiring professionals at Vet hospitals, funding the GI bill for them to go to school.
