2019 Subaru STI Series Gray - 1K Mile Review

If you saw the E30 Status update and "new member intro" video you know I recently replaced my F32 435i with a new Subaru STI Series Gray. Here is a quick review of the new STI after the first 1000 miles. Mainly on the driving experience which is the primary reason for owning one. Im not going to lie, it was a big challenge keeping revs under 4K during this break-in period but I did it. I intend to keep this one in the long run so Im taking good care of it from the beginning. Now I can have all the boost fun above 4500 rpm :)

Just got a 2019 STI. Totally agree. Car is razor sharp and reminds me of my 95 M3. You nailed it. I had no idea until i test drove the car. One of the last few cars you feel the road under you. Love it.

congrats, but all the talk about steering pump/rack issues lately worries me still on the sti. apparently they finally fixed the ringland issue with new internals in 19.

Will you ever install a Vems tuning mod on your STI? I’m trying to find out more about it. It’s a hose that T connects from your coolant hose to your engine. I here it takes good care of your engine.

Nice color.  A somewhat local dealership to me, had one.  They were not budging off MSRP and were low balling my trade too.  So I ended up not getting it.  It looks a lot better on the sti vs on the wrx.

Nice color cuz, but aren’t you supposed to wait awhile before applying wax due to the wax not being fully cured ?
