I heard this wonderful song on the 🇨🇭 radio for the first time sometime in the mid 70s as a 14-year-old, was somehow strangely moved by it and immediately pressed the REC button on my old tape recorder. In the years that followed, I played it again and again, +1000 times, until the cassette wore out and the tape broke - without ever knowing the title or the artist. It then played on in my memory for decades, along with fragments of the lyrics, until modern song and lyric recognition technology finally enabled me to find out the title and artist. Thank you Labi Siffre for a wonderful song that always brings back fond memories of a carefree youth.
