The voting was done midseason so the Chiefs technically already proved them wrong. And it just reflects how dominant Tyreek was at the start of last season while the Chiefs were struggling

Mahomes being #4 is actually really generous given when the survey was done. Arguably Dak should've been above him if we're looking at December 2023. But obviously, this survey is meant to be a combination of history and the current season, which explains why Rodgers is so high and Burrow is still on it. Also, I think NFL players as a group probably support Lamar more than they do Mahomes. Part of that is because Lamar got flack as a black QB where Mahomes really never had.

Also, I think it's dumb that the Chiefs apparently need 'haters' to win another one. What happened to wanting to be the best? You don't need a freakin bulletin board. What are you, a high school kid?
