So I recently replace the LCD and frame of my s23 ultra and after the replacement I tested the phone before adhering the back glass back on and when I did everything works properly as far as the LCD but my phone is stuck in bootloop or something I guess but the weird thing is that it is getting hot whenever the power is on to it and especially whenever I put it on charge and I cannot figure out what is causing this considering before the repair even with the LCD damage it never had a problem overheating or definitely not rebooting itself over and over. What might be causing this problem if you don't mind giving me a little insight before I spend any more money on something that is not going to fix the problem? The phone is only maybe 8 months old but only has maybe 6 months or less of use since it needed a new LCD. Thank you any knowledgeable insight would be much appreciated!

I have a question, did you use or wear an esd strap or anything while doing this job? I'm going to diy this same thing on mu own phone and I read on my new part that I would need to wear one to handle the motherboard.. thanks in advance!

Where are you getting your parts from my good man? Just cracked my screen. Its not too bad so i can fish for a decent replacement

When using the precut tape does it take away the IP68 rating of the phone? Do you have to use the tape around the camera's as well? Also, same question as another commenter... where do you purchase your parts from and are they genuine Samsung?

Does replacing the screen will delete all my data or I have to give my password to the repair person to save my data before repairing the S23 Ultra screen.
