SIU School of Dental Medicine Celebrates National Children's Dental Health Month

The Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine places special emphasis on community education to a young audience during National Children's Dental Health Month. Throughout February, the School invites elementary students from area schools to campus, where they learn about oral health from third year dental students, and undergo routine exams performed by fourth year dental students.
