Fun facts about the Vivio.... The name is a play on the engine capacity limit for the class of 660cc -
VI VI O in Roman numbers.
Also, Colin McRea did actually rally a Vivio one year on the Safari rally.
It was never going to end well, but they tried

Believe it or not, Colin McRae actually drove the RX-R in 1993 at a Safari Rally till the headgasket went, which early EN07 engines are well known for. The cars however went through some serious abuse, so amazing to watch theres videos on Youtube showing it! Very good watch!

That AZ1 for SURE needs some attention! They're going for over 3OK USD here in Japan, I can only imagine how much more in the states! I saw those cool little Subies while looking for my Kei car to take back to the states with me. I finally landed on a 97 Alto Works IE/S Limited! What a nugget. 😎
