I only started knitting in January and was so intimidated by socks at first too. I have found that, for me, toe up socks are so much easier and now I pretty much refuse to knit cuff down. Keep at it, you’ll be a pro in no time. Looking forward to your next video!

Well done with your first podcast Caroline, I loved it. I have just started knitting socks this year too, I want to pass on a tip that I got from another podcaster to make picking up stitches on the heel flap easier. Get a crochet hook in the same size as you needles you are usinv or a little bit smaller, it's so much simpler to pop the hook down from the outside, pick up the yarn loop then pop it on to your needle. Keep going with the podcast, as Katie from Inside Number 23 says, it's not about how fast you knit, we all start somewhere, it's about the journey and your unique view point about your experiences. 😀💖

I really enjoyed your first podcast!! I think knitting socks is difficult as well..to date I have one done and half of another...but have made a mistake and have to take some of the stitches out...more than likely will wait until after the holidays when there is more time..
