The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Museum, home to an Avro Lancaster bomber from WWII.

I visited several air museums during my recent UK trip and none were disappointing. This place is made for those interested in details, pieces of WWII air machines recovered from excavations, sometimes restored but often as they came out of the ground. What's interesting is that the story behind the find is there and you learn why is was there. Fascinating place.

Oh, and kids (of all sizes!) will love the bombers, the bombs and everything else here.
Although this site was on my to do list I ended up being in a bit of a rush to the point I forgot to film anything until close to closing. Hence why I didn't notice the poor focus at the start. I walk the wrong way round the Lancaster hanger (sorry) because I am lazy...

I’d really recommend the VIP taxi ride in Just Jane. Getting to sit in each of the crew stations, and having the pilot discuss how it was flown while I was sitting in the pilot seat, was unforgettable.
