Still struggling to appear online in Microsoft Teams? We suggest switching to the "New Teams, " which you can enable by clicking the toggle in the top left. Same old advice I see everywhere but nothing works with the teams browser. Setting your status message hasn't worked for at least 3 years now. Teams will keep evolving to keep us from staying green; it's by design.

Heyyy! Thanks for the info! I did want to know though, is there a way to replicate being always online but on the phone app of teams and without having it open? Or does it only work if I have it open and in front of me?

The meeting one doesn't work anymore. It kicks your status back to In A Call every hour.

Any workarounds on how to show available when you lock your keyboard? I work in an open space in our lobby and have to answer phones, but I'm also HR, so I'm away from my desk often and need to lock my keyboard for security. After about a minute it shows I'm away and calls are rerouted. Kind of squashes the convenience of long-range headphones.
