You have created a pop-up filter which shows list of region in the pop-up.
Suppose we create a date filter, is it possible to create filter which shows dates in the form of calendar inputs instead of the all dates list?

Nice video, but this is temporary solution. What about to have some slicer on canvas so I can easily change between regions and not open/close every time?

Thanks for the demo, this works fine, but it seems to be a workaround for a big limitation of PowerBI.
(1) You cannot publish a .pbit-file so you can not let users of your PowerBI-app change parameter-values
(2) the parameters should be changeable in your dashboard by a dropdown or a slicer, not in a 'welcome'-screen.
(3) I would like to use parameters in DirectQuery-mode so I can call dynamic parameterized stored procedures to SQL This is also not possible yet.

When I try to apply the filter to my original table I receive a circular reference error ("A cyclic reference was encountered during evaluation"). I'd appreciate any insights into the possible cause. Thanks for the great tutorial!

Why you create report as power bi template file...what is the reason for using pbit insted of pbi

It is not dynamic, as have to reopen file. It sucks.
