Pencil dispenser / sharpener

I had seen a cigarette dispenser like this and thought I’d make one for pencils

If I had something like this as a child, I'd probably have pursued my artistic passions much sooner and more energetically

My hubby is a carpenter, and he wants me to stop watching your videos bc I keep getting inspired and asking him to make me things. 😂 Actually he doesn’t care if I watch…just for the enjoyment and appreciation for the art. However, as a teacher, my students and I would totally dig something like this!

I desperately need this for my classroom! I'm in an alternative elementary school and most of my students can't be trusted to safely use the pencil sharpener. They've already broken the school provided crank one on the wall somehow.
